Race Relations-- Boards and Commissions

The Minorities on Boards and Commissions Race Relations committee is working to improve the diversity on local boards to reflect the population of our community.  After completing a baseline survey, the committee partnered with the Indiana Non-profit Resource Center to provide "Board Leadership 101" training.  Training participants and other interested individuals are invited to complete a Board Candidate Profile Sheet.  This information will be made available to local boards and commissions, as well as government-appointed positions, looking to expand their diversity.  To receive a Profile Sheet, please contact TEAMwork.
