Recent accomplishments of our Circle leaders

Employment—

With one exception, every member of every active Circle is employed.  While most would like to make more money and to find jobs with benefits, all are working and several working full-time.

· One Captain moved from part-time to full-time with benefits.

· Another Captain lost a full-time job, but searched diligently until she found a similar paying job which used her skills.

A volunteer group made up of a cross section of community members, including people who are Captains in Circles trying to become self sufficient are working on developing microenterprise opportunities for people in poverty.

 Education—

As graduates complete our required 16-week course, they are newly reminded that education is a key to a brighter future.

· One Captain completed her GED.
